We made it!

Well, we are here safe and sound :-) We praise the Lord for giving us safety in travel and wonderful helping friends on both ends of the trip! Justin got several of the guys from work to come help us unload the moving truck and they got it all done in a whopping 45 minutes!!! Thanks guys!

I have so many pictures to post from the past few weeks that I don't know where to start. I will show you a few from the past few days, and then work backward. Thank you again for all of your prayers. Please continue to pray that the house will rent. Thanks!

Moving Day!

Ok, so we don't have quite this much stuff, but close!

Yesterday we had a wonderful crew of friends and family to help us pack the truck and clean the house. THANK YOU EVERYONE!!! This morning Justin and his mom drove off in the moving truck with our car in tow. I will fly to Texas on Thursday. I can't help drive the rental truck because I am not 25 yet (not until next month :-) so Justin's mom offered to go along and help him with the driving. They plan to arrive in San Antonio on Friday.

Thank you all for your love and prayers. I would appreciate your prayers as Justin and my mother-in-law drive and as I say goodbye to my family on Thursday. We are also still praying that the house will rent soon. There has been a lot of interest shown in it, but no bites yet.

I don't have my computer with me so I can't post pictures until we get settled in. (I didn't want one more thing to handle while flying with Emma. Carseat, stroller, diaper bag and my carry on turn out to be quite enough!) May the Lord bless you all richly and we will be updating you soon!

Precious Memories

My three youngest brothers joined Hannah, Elisabeth, and I for the afternoon and tonight. I promised the boys they could spend the night sometime and I wanted to make sure it happened before we move. We have had a wonderful time playing in the park, playing UNO Attack, doing charades, and reading together. I praise the Lord for my precious siblings and friend!

More pictures to come :-D

Boothbay Harbor

My dear friend Elisabeth has come from Colorado to spend the week with Emma and I while Justin is away on a business trip. We are having a wonderful time spending time together, packing, talking, talking, and doing some more talking! Today we took a trip to Boothbay Harbor so that Elisabeth could see some of Maine. We picked up my sister and she is coming to spend the next few days with us. Yeah!!! I am so grateful for my dear sister and sister in Christ!
Hannah is so excited to be finally approaching my height. I didn't realize that she was so close! I looked at this picture and said "Ah! Am I really that short?!" I got quite a reaction from Hannah :-P

Being goofy!

We did have Emma with us, but we didn't take any pictures of her because she was all bundled up in the stroller and tucked under the cover. Here is a delightful little smile from yesterday :-)

Our First Home!

When we first moved into our little home I told you I would take pictures but I never did! Here is a little tour for you. It doesn't look the same now. There is nothing on the walls! We have many special memories here (including the birth of our Emma) even after only living here for 6 short months. We praise the Lord for His faithfulness and the joyful times he gave us here.
Enjoy!

Prayer Request

We would really appreciate your prayers that our house would rent. Our lease will not be up by the time we move so we will lose our security deposit if we have to leave and the house is not rented yet. The Lord knows our needs and we are trusting Him to do what is best!

Family Fun!

Last week I spent some time with my family while Justin was away on a business trip. We had a wonderful time together and they thoroughly enjoyed Emma!

Emma had a grand old time with Uncle Caleb. She found his hand quite tasty :-)
