Just Too Cute!

The expressions on Emma's face were all so adorable that I couldn't choose which ones to post, so here they are!

Wow!

Do you ever wonder how life can go by so quickly? I was looking through some pictures today and came across these. The first two pictures (top and bottom) on the left were taken two years ago this month at L.L. Bean (just a few days after we started courting.) The two middle pictures (top and bottom) were taken a year ago this past June at L.L. Bean (right after we were engaged.) The last two pictures (top and bottom) were taken last week at L.L. Bean and not only are we married, but we also have a daughter! As we approach this time of year when it all started for Justin and I, we are again reminded of the greatness and loving kindness of our Heavenly Father. We praise Him for all that He has done, and continues to do in our lives!

P.S. The top pictures were taken inside of a bubble in a fish tank. Yes, we have had to wait in line with the kids to get our picture taken!

A few pictures of Emma

Daddy just loves his time with Emma.

I love to watch her when she is sleeping (and when she's awake!)

Uncle Levi can't hold her enough. I spent a weekend at my parents' house shortly after she was born because Justin was away on a business trip. Levi was at my side the whole time holding her every chance he got!

The Mighty Hunter

Justin shot his first deer on Friday! She was a lovely doe at 170 pounds live weight. We are very grateful for God's provision and will thoroughly enjoy the meat this winter!

Baby Alert! :-)

It seems that this little one is getting tired of being inside and has decided to come meet his/her family. Yes, things are starting to happen and Mommy is writing this as she rests on the couch between contractions. Please be in prayer for a safe delivery!

Not yet :-)

I'm sure some of you are wondering if anything has happened yet, but there is still no sign of the little munchkin :-) I get up each morning wondering if today is the day, but our Lord knows the perfect timing. We are praying that the Lord will use this birth as a testimony for Him. Our midwives don't know the Lord so please be in prayer for their salvation, as well as for a safe delivery. Thank you so much for your love and prayers!

Counting the days...(5 days until the due date!)

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little one. I have been having contractions off and on over the past few days, but nothing has happened yet. All is going well and I continue to keep plenty busy working on projects and getting everything ready. Thank you so much for your prayers!

Pregnancy Update :-)

I can't believe that our baby's due date is only 2 weeks from Sunday. Everything seems to be going well. The baby is in perfect position and Mommy is very ready for his/her arrival! Please pray for a safe and healthy delivery in God's timing.
I would also appreciate prayer for sleeping :-D As you moms all know it is becoming increasingly difficult to get comfortable, but God is good and He will give the grace that is needed. Thank you so much for your love and prayers.

Common Ground Fair

This past weekend we enjoyed the Common Ground Fair with my in-laws. This fair is quite different from any I have ever been to. There are no rides or games, but rather it is more of an exhibition. Maine people come from all over to demonstrate old and lost trades. All of the food is organic and Maine made. It was really quite fascinating!

Olivia and I

Justin's grandmother is here from Texas and it was fun to have her along. She is quite the character!

Olivia won this bumper sticker by doing a bean bag toss at an organic milk stand. Off course her dad and brothers all had to do it too and they won these bandannas. We had to get a picture!

Yes, my belly continues to grow! Only four weeks left until my due date! We are getting very anxious to meet this little one!

Our new house!

Our back yard

Yes, I know it has been quite some time since my last post. We have been very busy with moving in and setting up house. I still don't have any pictures of the inside of the house yet because it is not quite ready :-) but things are coming along and Lord willing I will be pretty much all done in about one more week. Here are a few pictures of the outside for now.

Moving!!!

So what are the Horsman's up to these days? As you may recall the Lord has graciously provided free housing for us since we got married back in January. Right now we are living in my great-uncle's summer cottage on the same lake that I have grown up on. It has been such a blessing to be living here and we love being by the lake, but the cottage is not winterized and it is time for us to move in to a place of our own. We have been looking, praying, and waiting on the Lord to show us exactly where He wants us to live. A few weeks ago we came across an advertisement for a lovely little three bedroom bungalow for rent. It is an older house, but the owners have taken wonderful care of it and have also just finished building a new back porch, new two car garage, and put up a nice fence around the yard. We are overwhelmed with the Lord's goodness to us and are very much looking forward to moving in one week from today! Right now I am busy packing as we get ready for the 15th. I'm sorry that I don't have any pictures of the house yet, but I will be sure to post some soon!

A few days ago some of my siblings and I spent some time making birthday cards for my mom. After they left my house I decided to make some more cards to have on hand. I really enjoyed putting these together and the baby pictures I found online were so cute!

Tea Party

Last week my mom, Justin's mom, Granny (Justin's grandmother) and I all met together at a lovely little tea house. Justin and my father-in-law sent us there as a mother's day gift. We had such a good time sipping tea together and talking about the many aspects of motherhood. I am so grateful for the wonderful resources I have in these three precious women. I still can't believe I am going to be a mommy myself!

Siblings :-)

My four youngest siblings came over and had lunch with us today. Asa (above) was trying to get this toad to sit on his nose, but the toad just wasn't being very cooperative!

Baseball Game

I just came across these pictures from July. I had forgotten about the Portland Sea Dogs (the Boston Red Sox' farm team) game that we went to with a group of folks from my parents' church. Rob and Morgan are just like us - a Yankees fan married to a Red Sox fan. It does make life interesting!

I pinned this "baseball" onto my shirt and it was quite a hit! :-)

My Wonderful Husband

My precious Justin is in Oklahoma City starting law school! He has an intense week of orientation and then will come home and study long distance. I miss him a lot, but I am so proud of him and look forward to seeing how the Lord is going to lead and direct him.

I love you Babe!
