Christmas Eve

I can't believe it has been a year since we started courting, but here we are less than a week from our wedding! We praise the Lord for His goodness to us over this past year. May His name be glorified as we become husband and wife in just 6 days!

Getting our marriage license!

Fun with sisters and cousins!

Kyle

This was our first sight of Kyle after him being gone for 9 weeks.

He and his squad were demonstrating how to set up a system for moving this van. Pretty impressive!

More pictures of the graduation and our trip to come!

Off to Texas!!!

Two weeks ago I left with my future in-laws on a trip to Texas. We went to see Kyle (future brother-in-law) promote from basic training at ALERT. This is the same program that my brother Zach went through last fall. Kyle plans to head back to TX in January as he begins the second phase (Emergency Responce Training) and then studies law enforcement. We had a wonderful time together as a family and I really enjoyed meeting my soon-to-be-extended family along the way.

Miss Olivia enjoying her fried chicken and french fries!

This was Kyle's plate...a frying pan!

We enjoyed a fantastic southern meal at the Lambert Restaurant, it is in Missouri and is called the home of the "throwed rolls." While we were eating there was someone walking around with a cart of hot rolls and if you asked for one the guy would throw it to you, even from the other end of the room! It was quite the experience!

My WONDERFUL MAN will be HOME TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!

This is pretty funny!

My grandfather has this thing that he does and it is so funny. He tries to bob his head up and down without you being able to slap his head. He convinced Justin to do it with him this summer and here is the proof. The real question is not whether or not you are quick enough to catch Grampa's head, but rather, can you stop laughing long enough to try! My cousin Nate was taping it.

I just found it today and thought you might enjoy watching it!

Justin's new home

A few weeks ago Justin and some of the other folks from College Plus made their way to Washington State. Justin is now living out there until the end of his one year internship. Their office is actually in the middle of a cornfield! For the first two weeks or so the guys lived in a beautiful camper, but they have just moved into an apartment in town.

Arriving after three very long days of driving!

The new office building...

...in the middle of nowhere :-)
(praise the Lord for cell phones!)

My man's desk (could you tell? :-)

Justin does a lot of shipping so this is his new work space.
