"To Grandmother's house we go..."

Well, the three of us are of on a two week trip to San Antonio, TX! Justin's company is flying him down for some training so Emma and I are going along to visit family. My grandfather lives in Texas as well as Justin's grandmother, aunts and uncles, and cousins. When we visit Justin's grandmother we will also be picking up Kyle (my brother-in-law) at ALERT, and Jarrod & Christy (my sister-in-law) ,whom we haven't seen since their wedding in August, will also be driving in from Tennessee! They are anxious to meet their new niece and we are really looking forward to the family reunion.

I probably won't be posting until we get back since most of the places we will be at don't have internet. Until then may the Lord bless you richly! See you in two weeks! :-)

Baby Dedication

Yesterday at church we had a baby dedication service. It was quite a big deal since there were 9 babies born in our church over the past year! We really appreciate our pastor's vision for families and his encouragement to raise our little ones in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

This picture was taken after the service and our Emma was a little fussy because she had missed her nap (you moms know what Sundays are like!)

We also said goodbye to my sister Leigha. She left this morning on another trip to India. She will be home in April. I miss her already!

My dear friend Elisabeth made this precious hat, blanket, and booties (which you can't see in the pictures) for our little Emma. Purple is definitely her color and she has gotten so many compliments when wearing them. Thank you so much Elisabeth! I think of you every time I see them :-)

Concert!

Emma attended her first concert last week! Yo Yo Ma was playing with the Boston Symphony so we drove down to Boston with Justin's family and heard him play. He was amazing!

Wow, it has been way too long since I last posted. Our Emma is growing like a weed. I can't believe she will be 10 weeks old on Friday! Life really does seem to fly by when you have a little one. I continue to marvel at how much joy she has brought into our lives!
