My friend Gina was over visiting the other day and we looked into the living room to see Emma walking toward us! I couldn't believe it! She has been trying so hard but has only managed 1-2 steps at a time. She is still primarily crawling but that won't last long!

Emma Update

I know I have been terribly neglectful of our blog these past few months. Our little girl is growing by leaps and bounds and it is such a delight to watch her every day! She is now 15 months old and quite the bundle of entertainment. She is starting to climb on everything and has figured out how to climb onto the windowsill (which is only about a foot above the floor) and from there into the recliner. She is also taking 4-6 steps here and there and learning to stand up on her own from a seated position on the floor. She loves to play with her babydoll, listen to music, play with Daddy, and talk on her "cellphone" (the remote control for our CD player.) All in all she is a tremendous blessing and we can't imagine our lives without her smile! We are really looking forward to having another little one around with as much personality as our Emma Joy.

Bad with the camera

Hello Everyone,
I have not been very good with my camera lately and it seems like every time I go to use it the batteries are dead! (I think my rechargeables have officially died :-( My wonderful brother Zach has been taking pictures though and I thought I would share them with you! He has already gone to all the work of putting them up on the family's blog so I will include the link in case you want to check them out. Happy 1st Birthday Emma!!!

We celebrated Emma's first birthday with the whole Reed and Horsman clan just recently. Emma's birthday was Nov. 6th but we waited until the whole family was together in Big Sandy, Texas on the 13th. We were celebrating my brother's promotion from basic training at ALERT and had a birthday party too!

We are so grateful for you little Emma and can't imagine life without you. You have been such a blessing to our home with your many smiles, laughter, and sweet personality. We love you SO MUCH!!!

We are so excited that God is blessing us with a little sibling for you! ;-)
