Maine's TeenPact class is coming soon!

Last week Justin and a friend were on the radio. They were explaining what the TeenPact class is all about. I thought they did a good job, especially when one of the radio broadcasters threw in a question about separation of church and state. Here is the link if you would like to see it. Hockey Game!

Last Saturday night a group from my home church went to a Portland Pirates hockey game. We went along with them and had a great time. Our seats were right in the front row so I found myself covering my head several times when the players, or their puck, slammed up against the wall right in front of me, but it was really cool to be so close.



I really wish I had caught a picture of this, but I wasn't fast enough with the camera. The mascot was skating around throwing t-shirts to the crowd and came right up in front of us. He was just about to send a t-shirt flying over the glass to our group when he saw Justin's hat! As soon as he saw that it was a Yankees hat he started gesturing his dismay and made it obvious that he was NOT throwing us a t-shirt! Justin got quite a ribbing from our group but of course he thought it was great!

We decided that we needed a picture showing where we both stand on the "issue"!

The Breakwater

It was a bright, sunny, and gorgeous 52 degrees today! We had to get outside but it was too muddy to walk on our road so we drove to the breakwater and enjoyed the fresh salt air and beautiful view. This is one of my favorite places to visit and great for a nice walk!

We are currently watching my great uncle's house while he is in Florida. We will only be here until the end of March, but we will actually be moving down the road to another uncle's summer camp until the first of August. God has really blessed us with two lovely places to live for our first 6 months. We are so thankful for His goodness, and the generosity of family.
"Tammy's Baked Chicken" (chicken baked with a topping of mayo, parmesan cheese, and oregano--so easy, but really good!) I also made mashed cauliflower (a wonderful substitute for mashed potatoes if you want to avoid the carbs) and green beans.
